What's new in 1.5.1

Introducing file name-sharing as a Loop Team status

With our new 'Share - File names' setting enabled, Loop Team can share with teammates the exact filename of the document in which you are currently working as a way to create more transparency and ease remote connections in the workspace.

How does it work?

This feature works by looking at the document title of the active window you have open. This setting is optional and can be enabled in your Loop Team settings. We hope you'll give it a try and report back with any feedback. Here is a list of the initially supported apps.

❇️ Activity & Profile Views (Google Drive, Jira, & Trello Integrations)

Before you connect with a teammate, it's nice to have an idea of their upcoming calendar schedule, work hours, and to catch up on work they've recently done that's applicable to you.

Activity View

Now, when you click on a teammate, Loop Team will expand to show recent edits; comments; or tasks completed via integrations with Google Drive, Jira, and Trello (more integrations to follow). Toggle over to their Profile to see their working hours and other insights that help you better know one another.

Profile View

🕔 Set Work Hours —

Now you can share your typical work hours with your team. Loop Team uses this information to share more helpful guidance to teammates about when your end of the day is approaching, or when you'll likely be next online. It also signals when you're working early or after work hours to help protect you from interruptions. Opt-in to set yourself to 'Do not Disturb' when outside of set work hours.

Open 'Settings' > 'App Integration' > 'Connect to Slack'. Automating your status in Slack via Loop Team makes Slack feel livelier and reduces interruptions. Check it out.

Listen In — More and more data is showing how the lack of casual interaction and serendipitous interruption are making teams feel disconnected.
